2012 Rules and Regulations
Rogers Broadcasting Limited
- Contest Period (“Contest Period”) starts at 6:00am on October 1, 2012, up until 11:59pm on October 28, 2012, the Contest Closing Date (“Contest Closing Date”). To enter, pick up a KISS FM Bieber Bomb Justin Bieber cut out at our studios at 2001 Thurston during regular office hours or from the KISS Crew on Location (while supplies last) or download a Bieber Bomb photo from our KISS Website at 1053kissfm.com. Take a picture that includes the KISS FM Bieber Bomb Justin Bieber cut-out and download and fill out he entry form as per the instructions at 1053kissfm.com.
- We will draw one Grand Prize winner Monday Morning October 29, 2012 at approximately 7:00am at 2001 Thurston Drive from all entries received.
Our one Grand Prize Winner will receive 12 tickets in our Gallery Level Suite #419 at Scotiabank Place for the Justin Bieber concert on November 23, 2012 .
The selected entrant will be contacted by phone or email as indicated at the time of entry, if the selected cannot be reached within 5 business days, declines the prize, incorrectly answers the skill testing question, or fails to return the signed release and acknowledgement as indicated below, another entrant will be selected on the next business day.
3. No purchase, expenditure or investment necessary to enter this Contest.
4. This Contest is open to all Canadian residents of Ottawa/Gatineau and counties within the terrestrial radio broadcast signal area (must be able to tune in 105.3 KISS FM on a standard FM radio) who are 13years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees of Rogers, its respective parent and affiliate companies; representatives and agents, the Contest suppliers and those with whom they are domiciled. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.
5. In order to win, the selected entrant must first have correctly answered, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question posed at a mutually convenient time. The selected entrant will be required to sign a release and acknowledgment form before being declared the winner. 1053 KISS FM judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of the Grand Prize.
6. 1 Prize will be awarded in total.

Approximate retail value of prize is $2,500.00 CDN.
The winners are responsible for all costs associated with their prize, including but not limited to any additional costs not listed as part of the prize. No responsibility is assumed by 1053 KISS FM for any other factor beyond its reasonable control, or for a cancelled, delayed, or re-scheduled concert for any reason whatsoever and the prize will be forfeited. 1053 KISS FM is not responsible in the event winner and/or guest are refused entry to the concert venue for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prize will forfeited. Due to the nature of the Grand Prize no alternative concert dates are available other that those selected by1053 KISS FM.
7. 1053 KISS FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the case of unavailability of the advertised prize for whatever reason and can add or delete prizes throughout the Contest. No substitutions for, or transfer of the prize will be allowed and the prize is not convertible to cash.
8. Prizes must be accepted in their entirety and as awarded
9. Chances of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The winner may come from any geographical area so long as they otherwise qualify to enter.
10. Some restrictions on some of the prizes awarded may apply. Only one (1) entry per household is allowed. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the selected entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. An entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
11. All decisions of the judges are final. 1053 KISS FM reserves the right to modify these official rules as necessary.
12. All entries become property of 1053 KISS FM who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the Contest, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest. 1053 KISS FM reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, 1053 KISS FM reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
13. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant.
14. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by 1053 KISS FM. 1053 KISS FM takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
15. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by 1053 KISS FM and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. Winner consents to their photograph being taken by 1053 KISS FM for such use, without further compensation.
16. 1053 KISS FM is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant provides 1053 KISS FM with explicit permission to do so as indicated at the time of entry. Please see our Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for full information on the 1053 KISS FM’s policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.
17. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by 1053 KISS FM. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
18. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
